Pancake Day Giveaway - Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Pancake Parlour.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to UK residents only.

  • Entrants under 18 years of age may enter; however, any booking arrangements must be made with an adult aged 18 or over.

  • Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Pancake Parlour are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Follow PancakeParlour on the relevant platform

  • Like the competition post

  • Repost/share the competition video

  • Comment on the post and tag two people

Only entries completing all steps will be considered valid.

One entry is permitted per person, per platform (Instagram and TikTok).

Entries from fake, inactive, duplicate, automated, bot, or spam accounts will be disqualified.

No purchase is necessary.

4. Competition Period

  • Opens: Tuesday 10th February 2026

  • Closes: Tuesday 17th February 2026 at 6:00pm (Pancake Day)

  • Winners announced: Evening of Tuesday 17th February 2026 or Wednesday 18th February 2026

Late entries will not be accepted.

5. Prize

There will be two winners:

  • Two winners in total from Instagram and/or TikTok

Each winner will receive:

  • One free Pancake Parlour booking (live pancake station at an event (includes serving trays and disposable cutlery))

  • Up to 400 guests included

  • Maximum booking duration: 4 hours, including a 2-hour serving window

  • Preset toppings & sauces

Any additional guests, extended time, or bespoke menu requests may be subject to additional charges, agreed separately.

6. Location of Booking

  • Valid within the M25 (Greater London).

  • Locations outside this area may be considered and may incur a surcharge.

7. Booking Validity & Availability

  • Prize must be redeemed between 1st March 2026 and 30th November 2026

  • All bookings are subject to availability and existing commitments.

  • Specific dates cannot be guaranteed.

8. Existing Bookings Exclusion

  • The prize may not be applied to any existing, confirmed, provisional, or previously agreed booking made with Pancake Parlour prior to the winner being announced.

  • Winners who already hold a booking with Pancake Parlour at the time of winning may not use the prize to replace, discount, cancel, or substitute that booking.

  • The prize may only be used for a new booking made after the winner has been confirmed.

9. Winner Selection

  • Winners will be selected at random using the ‘Comment Picker’ or similar tool.

  • The selection process is final and binding.

10. Winner Notification & Claiming

  • Winners will be contacted via direct message.

  • Winners must respond within 48 hours.

  • Failure to respond may result in selection of an alternative winner.

11. Cancellations & Rebooking

  • Winners who cancel may be permitted to rebook once, at Pancake Parlour’s discretion.

  • Further cancellations may result in forfeiture of the prize.

12. Force Majeure

Pancake Parlour is not liable for failure to fulfil the prize due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Staff illness

  • Supplier failure

  • Government restrictions

  • Technical issues

  • Acts of God

In such cases, Pancake Parlour may reschedule, modify, or withdraw the prize.

13. Marketing & Photography

By accepting the prize, winners agree to the reasonable use of photographs, videos, and event content for marketing and promotional purposes without additional compensation.

14. Non-Transferability & No Cash Alternative

  • The prize is non-transferable.

  • No cash alternative is available.

  • The prize may not be sold, exchanged, or substituted.

15. Fraud, Abuse & Protection

Pancake Parlour reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or cancel prizes where fraud, manipulation, misuse, or dishonest conduct is suspected.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Multiple or false accounts

  • Artificial engagement

  • Misrepresentation

  • Breach of these Terms

16. Misconduct & Behaviour

Pancake Parlour reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who:

  • Engages in abusive, threatening, offensive, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Harasses staff, suppliers, or customers

  • Brings the business into disrepute

Such conduct may result in immediate forfeiture of the prize.

17. Amendments & Cancellation

Pancake Parlour reserves the right to amend, suspend, withdraw, or cancel this competition, or revise these Terms and Conditions, where reasonably necessary.

18. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Personal data will be used solely for administering the competition.

  • Data will not be sold or shared.

  • Data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

19. Platform Disclaimer

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok.

20. No Legal Contract

Participation in this competition does not constitute a legally binding contract between entrants and Pancake Parlour.

The prize is provided at the promoter’s discretion and subject to these Terms and Conditions.

21. Final Decision

All decisions made by Pancake Parlour are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

22. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
